Tinyhunter

The Tinyhunter website was a significant project as it served as the digital face of the agency I was working for at the time. Built on Drupal with PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL, the website needed to be both functional and visually impressive to represent the high standards of the agency. One of the primary goals was to implement dynamic, CMS-able modules that would give content editors the flexibility to update any section of the website, create new pages, and rearrange components independently.

To achieve this level of flexibility, I utilized the Panopoly distribution of Drupal, customized to meet the specific needs of the client. This setup allowed for a modular approach, where editors could create and edit landing pages using predefined components. This dynamic approach not only streamlined content management but also ensured consistency across all new pages and sections.

Another crucial focus for this project was Page Speed Optimization. Achieving a Google PageSpeed score of 100 was a key objective, so I conducted extensive research on performance best practices, implementing various techniques to optimize load times and improve the overall user experience. This involved fine-tuning the caching strategy, minimizing resource-heavy elements, and leveraging Drupal’s built-in optimization features alongside custom improvements.

The project was recognized with an award for its performance and design, showcasing the agency's capabilities and my technical expertise in both Drupal and performance optimization.
