I worked on maintaining and enhancing the Beerenberg website, which had been built using older PHP technologies. The challenge was to continue developing new features on top of the existing architecture while maintaining stability and performance.

A significant part of my work involved ensuring the smooth operation of the website by managing routine tasks like updating promotions and managing dynamic content. I integrated the site with an external email marketing platform, streamlining their promotional campaigns and ensuring timely updates for customers.

In addition to regular maintenance, I was responsible for creating new landing pages to promote specific products and events. One of the most interesting tasks was tailoring the content for the Chinese market by implementing a fully localized Chinese version of the site, allowing Beerenberg to expand their reach and connect with a new audience.

I also worked on optimizing and improving the site's CMS, allowing Beerenberg's internal teams to manage promotions and recipes more effectively. This included designing custom widgets for easier content management, ensuring that the site could handle new campaigns and offers without technical issues.

Overall, my role was a mix of maintenance and feature development, contributing to the ongoing success of the Beerenberg brand online while adapting to the evolving needs of the business.
